The Parkers
Of Mammoth Cave

The Parkers of Mammoth Cave are the descendants of Dio Balaam Parker and Nannie Belle Slaughter. Dio and Nannie married in 1911 and raised a family of ten children, most of whom were born and subtantially raised on what is today the Mammoth Cave National Park, in Edmonson County, Kentucky.

This website is dedicated to serving this family as both a genealogical resource and as a resource for current news, information, and communication.

NOTE: This website is under consctruction and initially appear to be disjointed and disorganized. This is because the author has elected to make it public as it is being developed. Historical research, the establishment of a web-based communications activity among a family group, and web design are all projects which require time to do properly. Since I believe most family members would rather have acccess to what's here now, rather than wait months or years until I have a polished product (if I ever do), I'll accept the criticism for a site whose appearance is less than ideal.
